Reason 2 – Spacious Villas

The second reason for choosing Tranquil Getaways On Obi Maleny is our well appointed, spacious villas. They are like a secluded cabin on the edge of the Obi Obi Creek. Three of our villas are made extra comfortable with King Beds, two can be split into two single beds. This gives you plenty of sleeping options. The other two villas have Queen beds. All villas have a Koala sofa bed in the lounge room. Bookings are made on the basis of two adults using the bed in the bedroom. A third adult can be accommodated, however there will a small extra charge for linen. Or you may choose to have up to two children on the sofa bed, which will also occur an extra fee for linen. All villas have separate bath and walk-in showers, fully equipped kitchenette and a balcony for enjoying the sounds of nature.

Reason 3 – Wellness Options : In-House Massage & Yoga 

A third reason for choosing to stay at Tranquil Getaways On Obi Maleny are our wellness options. A great way to feel better is to have a massage. We offer in-house massage with Greg, who is trained in remedial and sports massage.  A 60 minute Massage is only $85. Other time options are available, just ask.

Another great wellness option is taking a yoga class with Barb. She is a trained yoga teacher and runs community classes each Monday and Wednesday night in Obi House. These are offered to guests at $15/person. Or Barb can run a private class for $99, and there is the option of corporate classes for up to 12 people. 

If you truly want to take time to reflect and cultivate contentment, gratitude and happiness, book one of our Yoga Retreats. The next retreat is running later in the year from the 27th to 30th October 2025. This will help you prepare for the silly season ahead.  

Reason 4 – Arrival platter 

To help take all the stress about what to do and where to eat after you check-in, order one of our Arrival platters. They are filled with local produce and will easily feed two for a light meal or a substantial treat before dinner. There are two options: $33 without alcohol, or $69 including wine or local craft beer. 

Reason 5 – Breakfast hamper  

Perhaps you want to enjoy a leisurely morning in your villa, or just don’t want to make decisions about where to go for breakfast.  If that is the case, order one of our Breakfast hampers. They include house made granola, seasonal fruit, eggs, sourdough bread and local yoghurt. When you order a breakfast hamper it will be in your villa prior to arrival, ready for you to make your breakfast at a time which suits you. Each villa includes tea and coffee making facilities.

Reason 6 – All about romance package

We can help add some extra romance to your Sunshine Coast escape. Book one of our All About Romance packages. There are a couple of options you can select. Option one: heart shaped flowers arranged on the bed prior to arrival, Maleny chocolates, robes and candles for $90. Option two: candles, Maleny chocolates and robes for $25. 

To build on the romance of your holiday, Greg will happily set up the firepit for you down on the banks of Obi Obi Creek. It is a great spot to while away for a few hours. This option with a bottle of red wine and snacks is $40.

Reason 7 – Transport

For our guests we offer transport for up to 6 people to local events and restaurants. One way to the restaurant is $20 and if you book a return it is $30 total for your transport. Pick up from Landsborough train station is $45, pick up from Maroochydore airport $100 and from Brisbane airport $200. 

Reason 8 – Reset workshop 

Barb’s previous career was as a High School Hospitality teacher, and she still loves to teach people some of her healthy and nutritious recipes. When booking your stay you might book into a reset workshop where you will make a healthy picnic, which you can take with you when investigating some of the local national parks. 

Reason 9 – Family Package

Tranquil Getaways On Obi Maleny works in partnership with Aussie World Theme Park to offer a mid-week Family Package. This package includes 3 nights accommodation and entry to Aussie World Theme Park – this package must be taken mid-week.

Reason 10 -Golf Package

This can be taken as a one, two or four night package, all include a round of golf at Maleny Golf Club, use of a golf cart and transport to and from Maleny Golf Club. The Maleny golf club has nine Par 4s, six Par 3s and three Par 5’s – to provide a challenging Par 69, 18 hole layout.
