Train: Roma Street to Landsborough — 50¢
Jump on the Sunshine Coast Line from Roma Street Station and head north to Landsborough. The fare is just 50 cents — tap on with your go card or contactless bank card and enjoy the ride through the suburbs and into the hinterland foothills.
Tip: Use your bank’s contactless card or a go card — just tap on and tap off.
Bus: Landsborough to Maleny — 50¢ (Route 891)
From Landsborough Station, hop straight onto the Route 891 bus operated by Glasshouse Country Coaches. In around 13 minutes you’ll be rolling into Maleny — for just 50 cents more.
The bus runs throughout the day on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Our recommendation is to come up mid-week, enjoy the local vibe in Maleny and there are more train options.
Route 891 also operates hail ‘n’ ride between stops — just wave the driver down anywhere safe along the route.
Important: Go cards are not accepted on the Route 891 hinterland bus. Bring cash — exact change or small notes preferred.
